I have never been on keppra but mine was phenobartones i cant take them they use to make me feel depressed so my doctor took me off them and put me on phenytoin and i was fine on them. Now ive been put on zonegram and im fine on them as well no side effects.

Not that I'm proud of it but when my three sons were in their teens and did something to aggravate me, most of the time I pinned them to the floor and yelled at them. I didn't want to get physical but I couldn't control it.

I was extremely irritated at the smallest things while on keppra and very aggressive during arguments even more then I usually was. I do remember having a argument with my ex-wife and punching a hole through the wall next to me in our apartment. And just throwing and slamming anything next to me when I couldn't remember what I was or had to do or if I just had a sezuire after things were starting to go good.. And mind and mood altering shifts after awhile of being on it that changed my way of dealing with people..

I was pretty grouchy when I first started taking it, that's what people around me said. I think it took a few months to get used to it but when I did I haven't had any problems since.
