Homeopath
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had homeopathic treatment? I was given calcarea carbonica and I'm wondering if that has what has made my epilepsy worse. I'm going to see the homeopath again soon. Just wanted to know other peoples experiences and things which may have helped them

Hello! I have been on homeopathic treatment for 2 and a half now, it definitely has improved things for me. The catch is to get the right granules for you...so if you feel worse then you did, it could either be the beginning stage of worsening before it gets better (sometimes that can happen with homeopathy) or it isn't a good fit for you. Either way, I think you should contact your homeopathic doctor and tell him how you have felt, so that he knows what further actions to take to help you or just give you granules to antidote the ones that are making you feel bad.
I hope this helps. Take care!

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member yes I think the oil is, just not weed itself but I've heard its pretty expensive as u have to get it from a healthfood store. I'm going to the homeopath again today so will see what they say

never heard of it but i did some research. homeopathic mean same suffering. it diluted a harmful thing to make it a cure. they diluted so much (1 part per 100 and repeat again and again ect) its more water (or solvent) then the harmful thing. there lies the problem... its watered down so much it loses everything (good and mad). its a placebo effect. but that is a quick read.
