I do a mail away for 90 day supply. I take 5000 mg per day generic. Last time it was $76

Yes, I had to have my Neuro Dr. write a letter to my insurance company to insist that I not get the generic form of Keppra.

Sometimes you don't have a choice. The HMO you are with will always work toward keeping your premiums down. In order to do so, they will recommend the doctor to use generic to keep premiums cost down.

i take keppra 500 mg in the morning and night. but i also am on the keto diet and take a lot of vitamins and hippie breathing stuff.

I take Keppra XR 750 3 times a day. Was only taking it twice a day but started getting frequent auras, so Dr. upped it.
He also writes the script for non generic Keppra. Generic Keppra is NOT the same, IMO.
