Ginger Gene

Apologies if I have asked this question before but I have a theory I want to share and get opinions. From the people I have spoken to with epilepsy and other brain issues it seems that they have from some point in their family inherited the "ginger gene". I have the ginger gene and is visible in me because I have ginger hair but I know other sufferers that don't have ginger hair but this gene has been passed down many generations to them. I did a little researching and I couldn’t find anything on red/ginger hair causing us to have epilepsy. In my opinion , it’s probably a myth..

Now if a past family member had Epilepsy then you could of genetically gotten Epilepsy.

My mom’s the only redhead in our family for generations. I’m the only one with E. Possible link...my only question is why didn’t my sister get it too?

Oh, Dad had black hair, brown eyes and I had blonde hair (which changed brown later on), green eyes and my son has red hair, green eyes...
