I do quite a bit and have had to take prescription pain meds for it it is awful and will sometimes incapsitate me.

I had that pain turned out it was side effects from carbamazepin or gabapentin when i was taken off them haven't had the pain since then.

See if its side effects from meds.

Ive had this recently on my top left side. Really stops you as its so painful. Will see my specialist but great to know others have had it too and it's not just me xx

I have had that all my life. Happens maybe 1-2 times a month. Always described them as like an ice pick was being stabbed into my head. Can happen on either temple. I think the name for them is actually " ice pick " headaches. Last like 2 to 3 seconds and then gone. Hurts like crap. If they lasted longer than that i don't think i could handle it.
