100% yes.
I become very hyper, very often. I have bouts of extreme and prolonged laughter, uncontrollable and every time I think it's over, a feeling comes in my stomach and diaphragm that forces more laughter to come out. I've never been able to control it and very often it reduces me to tears because 1) it eventually hurts, a lot. 2) I feel extremely embarrassed when it happens when I'm around people who don't know me and 3) the biggest reason, is that I feel utterly helpless and a slave to it.
Not a very cheerful response so I apologise for that.
