I had a really bad seizure last July, I went unconscious and stopped breathing. They sent me to three different hospitals and had to keep on taking my breathing tube in and out cuz it wasn't working. I went into a coma for ten days and woke up. I didn't know anything or anyone. I still don't remember that night it happened I was in ICU hooked to breathing tubes for a month. I had to relearn how to walk talk breath and eat. Scariest time of my life. My trachea is now ruined for how many times they had to put the breathing tubes in so I sound really gruff when I talk. It's hard cuz I used to sing and that gave me great joy and I can't now. My tounge is numb because I bit straight through it that took awhile to get used to.

Brain haemorrhage & tearing both shoulders Need surgery on shoulders couldn't be done because it was post brain surgery. Full thickness laceration of bottom lip. Most embarrassing was when I stripped off morning of surgery at 5am trying to do a medication round. I work on the ward!! . I only knew when I saw photos that my supposedly took I asked why I had so many gowns on ties facing back and front. I also threw a very hot coffee not intentionally of cause on myself as well as a Dr in staff cafeteria. She didn't help me just stood there and sent daggers

Hi Lizellevd my daughter has had two black eyes and stitches in her head when she has had a sezuire she doesn't know when they come on no sign at all mine are tonic clonic I have not had any for 7 yrs

A month ago I had a seizure while doing my hair. I grabbed the flat iron the wrong way and would not let go. I did not have a full seizure during because the heat pulled me out of it. But it caused me to 3rd degree burn 80% of the palm side of my left hand. It has taken so far over a month of recooperating to try and get over this injury and even the pain has cause me to have more.

In 2006, I was cooking my famous Thanksgiving gravy when I had a seizure at the stove & my entire left hand fell in the pot of boiling gravy (as my wrist & forearm rested on the hot rim of the pot). 😭 I suffered 2nd & 3rd degree burns as a result. Doctors were certain I’d suffer infection, possible amputation or not have full complete mobility of my left hand. Thanks be to God I still have full mobility of my hand & just some ugly scars to remind me how blessed I am to have survived that horrible accident as a result of a seizure. On the pain scale, it was definitely up there with the pain from neurosurgery. The pain from the burns was sooo unbearable, I just wanted to chop my arm off. Very grateful to still have full use of my hand today. 🤚🏼
