Whenever I am on my monthly visit from nature I have more absent seizures and am generally more confused and sleepy. Is this common?

It has to do with the change in estrogen levels I took Ativan and it helped me.

Unfortunately for us women, I believe it's called catamenial seizures, horomones just spike our seizure frequency

It can be very common for a lot of the ladies. Some people choose to use birth control pills to try and level out their hormone fluctuations. Your neurologist and/or ob-gyn could be helpful there.
