Urinary Incontinence Because Of Meds
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Are there other people who also suffer from urinary incontinence because of meds

Yep! I find it almost impossible to go to sleep without visiting the bathroom several times during the night, just making sure that I won't have an accident. Highly irritating & not something I often talk to my family about, but it's nice to share problems we think we suffer alone with :)

Yes, a side effect of some of the meds is urinary incontinence. For me, an antidepressant caused it. It was miserable and embarrassing. My MD of course said it was age-related, but when I was taken off that med the problem went away. There are many possible causes, tho, so I please let your docs know about it as they might need to run tests to rule out other causes. I hope that you find a solution. And I hope that you're otherwise doing well - better than earlier this week?

Yeah, I think that it's a combo of stuff, my condition and meds, and age, a natural thing, etc, a inconvenience but. No prob,
