My husband woke up with a severe headache this morning, so bad he was crying, never have seen him cry in pain before. Says it's like a crushing feeling in his head behind his left eye. Makes it hard to even function. Anyone experience anything like this?
Yes. Mine were sudden and severe; as time passed, they happen more often. The only thing that helped mine was holding my skull tight, and shifting/adjust it. Mine was a result of a one-in-million chance sideaffect of Neurontin. 3D MRI showed that my skull had grown in (thickened almost an inch) squeezing the brain. The UCLA Neurology Center had never seen anything like it, but were able to stop them with corrective surgery.
Im not trying th scare anybody, but i highly recommend that if experiencing severe/sudden head aches, you should ask that you next MRI be a 3D.
Hope they make adjustments soon. Good to know he's not taking Neurontin.
Yes all the time only thing I can do is put ice n lay down
Definitely! Because he is having seizures so frequently they want to wait until he goes in the hospital the 25th for monitoring to change meds around... I understand why, that it is a safer environment but the wait is very frustrating!
My husband's neurologist called us back today and said she thinks it was a severe migraine which could be because of the trilepetal he is on?
