Does Anyone Ever Have Blackout Spells?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

As some of you know I have had seizures for 24 years. I am having these blackout spells in just 1 eye. My seizures are coming from a damaged nerve in the left side of my brain. I blackout in my right eye sometimes. I know its completely normal, but I was just wondering if other people have had them.

That's what my seizures are, I blackout for 3-7 minutes. When I wake up I pick up right where I left off, like nothing ever happened. This started when I was 55 I'm now 70.

I black out totally when I get a seizure and don't know what happens to me for about +/- 15 minutes

Yes I have blackouts also. I never know where I go or end up. I forget so much. My head hurts so bad. But I know the brain cancer is back. Talk to your dr. Ask for E.E.G., Mri, is ok, cat scans don't work for me. You are not ever alone.
