Live Q&A: Shattering the Stigma Around Migraine With Dr. Starling

Updated on June 22, 2021

Living with epilepsy can come with a variety of symptoms, and sometimes that includes experiencing migraine attacks. In fact, the risk of migraine is twice as high in people with epilepsy compared to those in the general population.

If you’ve experienced migraine symptoms, you might have questions about managing and treating them. Join migraine specialist Dr. Amaal Starling and MyEpilepsyTeam co-founder Mary Ray for a webinar on all aspects of living with migraine.

Some questions that members have submitted for the event include:

  • How can I determine whether I have migraine versus a series of headaches?
  • What strategies can help treat migraine?
  • How can I convince other people that my migraine symptoms are real? It feels like no one believes I’m in pain.
