I’ve been on Keppra for 18 months, it’s worked very well, I had a surgery two weeks ago and I feel like I’m starting to have jerks in the last few days, anyone else ever had it stop working? Specifically after a major surgery?
The only thing with Info it's a Controlled substance just like Vimpat that I take.
Anyone heard of Keppra rage?
I'm on it, no prob my opinion, once in while, slight fatigue and naps,
I try to control myself as I know the temporal and frontal lobe damage I have as revealed in an MRI enhances my potential for irritability and anger.

I've been dealing with a lot of rage and anger and just general not feeling like myself. It has come to my attention that there is something called keppra rage that comes from taking keppra which is what I take for my seizures. I am currently on Dilantin and does not seem to be processing through my body the same after taking it for 40 years and been having spikes in my phenytoin levels over 30. I also have been experiencing more side effects. My neurologist is suggesting to switch me to keppra/levetiracetam or lamotrigine/lamictal. Any thoughts or experiences?
I'm taking both as a combo. Works great for me
Thank you Sue, going to talk to the Dr about this, this week!
