I am currently on Dilantin and does not seem to be processing through my body the same after taking it for 40 years and been having spikes in my phenytoin levels over 30. I also have been experiencing more side effects. My neurologist is suggesting to switch me to keppra/levetiracetam or lamotrigine/lamictal. Any thoughts or experiences?

What should I ask/tell my Dentist?

I know it is one of the older medications out there. I would like to know positive or negative experiences you had while taking this drug.

Can Dilantin eliminate seizures!!!

I'm on several epilepsy meds and have been warned that pregnancy could be dangerous and high risk. My seizures are still uncontrolled, mostly complex partial/secondarily generalized. Was wondering if any women suffering from uncontrolled seizures and/or on Dilantin, Vimpat and/or Lamictal have had children, and if so, what your experiences were? I want kids more than anything :(

Hi everyone ive been on 3or 4 meds it seems to make things worse im waiting to see a new nerologist have any of you just decided not to take meds?

Dilantin has given people side effects that Pfizer did not disclose. There are now many open cases of cerebellum atrophy and skin conditions. Pfizer has been found to have not disclosed many of some severe side effects. If anyone knows please let me know.
