Hi everyone so I was seizure free for 9 years and almost forgot I have Epilepsy so my question is what things do you guys use to live independent and be safe?

Thinking of this festive time, do you have more seizures when you are away from home? do you feel more safe with your epilepsy at home?

I'm am having a bit of stand off with work at the moment in regards to health and safety going overboard and not taking into consideration any of my points of view from the 27 years I've lived with epilepsy. Our 22 year old daughter was diagnosed in 2020 with epilepsy. She is blind and has another neurological disorder. She was put on Keppra (low dose) in May of 2020. In 2022, & 2023 we took cruises (many others years before as well). She has only had 1 breakthrough seizure since on keppra and it was on the cruise we had last February 2023. I have severe chronic spontaneous urticaria and my allergist wants to maybe try xolair on me. Has anyone else ever had that? Did it make your seizures worse?

Hi had some not what I would call seizures but just unable to speak making like a mumbling sounds, I am completely conscious and aware of what I am doing I can still continue what Iam doing
It doesn't affect me in any way
My neurologist has increased my epilepsy medication, but I have never been tested for epilepsy just
