So I'm off to Disney world later in the year (October to be exact) and I'm really struggling with my energy levels after about 3/4pm but the effort you need at Disney is beyond any normal day so I'm slightly worried I'm gona drag my Disney crazy mate down with me.

check your carbs . I am doing a new food plan and no cards for the first 2 weeks and I am feeling much better. I was eating protein and veg but a lot of cereal and bread.

I've had depression on and off since I was 12/13. I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 23 and the depression came back hard.my doctor can't figure out why despite my epilepsy being hormonal,I can be fine one minute and the next bawling my eyes out,I'm doing my best not to let it get to me but it's frustrating

I have found that gym has really helped with my mental stability. Exercise has proven to be the biggest helper of it all.

It's when someone comments on your story it doesn't show it anywhere I've looked at everything and when I click the notification it just takes me to my story

I was diagnosed as a teenager. I dont have any memories of my mom helping me when I had grand mals or going to the dr. I just remember my dad .I also wonder if I scared her about epilepsy. Does anyone else remember anything like that?

What Do You Do To Thwart Toxicity From Your Meds?

As a person with controlled epilepsy, a big problem I have is losing mornings to toxicity from my after-breakfast meds. I've found ways that work for me:

* Eat a bulky breakfast (oatmeal with none of the sweet stuff works for me)
* Don't do anything that makes my blood rush to my head (over-caffeinating myself, sugary breakfasts, leaning over and putting my head down, generally running around during the hour after taking my meds).
