My triggers are, the heat, strobe lights, stress, lack of water, lack of food, and really cold weather.
My trigger is propylene glycol. If I touch it I'll have tonic clonic seizures within 4 days it's in everything so impossible to avoid
Has anyone have any serious issues with VNS surgery. I already had a previous RNS type of surgery but this time they offered VNS and worried. I actual started working a second full time job to keep a reason to delay. What do you think?
Happy holidays to everyone and your loved ones!
That is something I'm not familiar with. I wish you the best regardless of what you decide.
Has anyone had VNS surgery and how long does it take to slow down your seizures or even stop them. I am planning to get that surgery but afraid if it doesn't help it will still be on the biggest nerve of my body. I workout, jog and have jobs I have to pick up heavy things. Can anyone please help. Spring is coming in the Northeast ☀️ Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your response!
I can't listen to YouTube videos without going dizzy, my vision foggy and having to shut my computer to make it stop since I can't find the x button with my mouse to shut the page - I can't see it. Has anyone's seizure triggers changed? For example caffeine or alcohol used to not trigger you but now it does. Or it used to trigger you but now it doesn't. Same with other common triggers...I was just using it as an example.

I'm so sorry you had what must have been very frightening experience. Also, thankful God lead you safely to that cab. God blessed all that day 🙏
