Hi! If you are on medicine to control your seizures, do you find that it helps so your triggers don't set off a seizure? Or do you find that you still have seizures as usual when triggered? For instance, one trigger for me is caffeine. I can tolerate very little. If I have too much, I have a seizure. Is this normal since even though I am on medication?
Can watching too much TV trigger seizures

What does everyone mean by what " triggers" you this may be a dumb question but can Episodes/ fits be triggered by things other then like getting scared or stuff like that ?

Today my doctor told me he plans to have another week EEG in a few months. It's difficult for me to have them during that time so do you suggest any triggers when you do an EEG? How has alcohol affect you? Son got diagnosed with primary generalized epilepsy at 16 yrs old. He has never had alcohol. So I am wondering what will happen when he does. I have heard that many people are triggered by alcohol.
Since beginning this journey and identifying triggers, my main trigger has been heat. Now that we are fully into summer, I have been a bit of a mess. Does anyone have any good tips on dealing with heat sensitivity for seizures?
