All of my symptoms fit complex partial for a majority of my seizures, yet I can remember them happening, which is typically associated with simple partial seizures. Is it really complex partial in that case? My neurologist thinks so apparently.
Anyone here have Ativan at home to take after you have had more than 1 seizure in a day to help stop them? Hubby has complx partials.. wondering your experience do they stop the seizures?
sometimes when I get a little confused I'm afraid I had a absence/partial seizure and didn't realize it. For those of you with complex partial and/or absence seizures: what are your auras like? How do you know?
I was sick to my stomach for the past couple days unless I was eating then I had three complex partial seizures all within 18 hours. Now I dont have the upset stomach? Coincidence?
Does anyone feel like their heart is pounding out of their chest, like a panic attack before and then even more so after a seizure? I have complex partial seizures.
Does the weather/temperature have an impact on your frequency of seizure activity? Whenever it's cold/cooler temperature, I start to experience more stomach aches which leads to a complex partial or absence seizure that's why.
I've had epilepsy for 30 years. Simple partial seizures with no loss of awareness, but I've had a few complex partial seizures. I have on average one or two simple partials every month but sometimes I go for 3 months seizure free. The last complex partial was a year ago. I have a strong and lengthy aura on every seizure and my eye twitches strongly.

So I have epilepsy but I have been seizure free for 5 years now. Although I'm not getting seizures (to my knowledge) I would like to have a seizure dog incase I am having them. All the watches and gadgets out there are only for tonic clonic seizures and I have complex partial. What are your thoughts?
I have both simple and complex partial seizures. The complex partials are under control with meds but I have break thru simple partials. No loss of awareness but my new neurologist claims that I shouldn't drive because he thinks since I'm still having simples, I could possibly have a complex too. His thinking...not mine. He has suddenly told me not to drive, even though I'm experiencing less seizures than I've ever had (30+ years).
In order to keep my freedom, I'm… read more
