Not being believed is worse than a seizure. I hope your days are sunny and peaceful.
Do you guys drive?
Losing the right or ability to drive is not only hard it just down right sucks! It is a means to independence. I haven’t driven in almost 9 years and I hate every minute. Having said that I look at… read more
Does anyone feel really emotional or a change in their emotions after their seizure or for the next day or so?
I find I can feel quite down and sad, sometimes near crying or I cry a little. Not crying because I can't cope or that I'm upset about having a seizure, just more that I feel really down. In the past I've also felt a little angry or moody after a seizure as well.
Just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has experienced this?
I have grand mal/tonic clonic seizures.
Thanks x
OMG I am so thankful I have found this community.
I have Tonic-Clonic seizures every 2 weeks. I'm 51 and have been having them for 10 years now.
I started microdosing 3/10s of a gram and I still had my seizure every 2 weeks, but I went 4 months without a Tonic-Clonic seizure. https://www.magicmushrooms101.com

Last night, well I guess early this am I was awoken due to a dream that I have had before 1 other time, but this time I felt completely different. It felt as if my brain was rapidly firing vivid images still and like it was tremoring out of control. I have have had slight brain tremors before but nothing like I felt last night/this am. It was about 330am. It took about 15ins for calm to restore and I was not able to go back to sleep. More like I just laid there with my eyes closed… read more

I recently had my third seizure at 29 years old. My first was a Febrile Seizure at age 5 or so. My second was around 22; I went to a music festival after barely sleeping, didn't eat, drank and smoked marijuana. Third was after a long night of drinking and poor sleep. Smoked marijuana and instantly went into one. I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with IGE. I haven't started my Keppra yet as I've already been dealing with anxiety and depression for the last year or so. I haven't been able to have a… read more
Love your honesty thanks for it
I submitted a reasonable accommodation request on 10/18/22 asking that my job give me 12 hours off of work, specifically during the hours of 7pm to 7am, due to the fact that I must wake up at 6am to get my children ready for school. Also to see to it that I may get enough sleep, because the recommended amount of sleep for someone with my disability is 8-10 hours of continuous sleep per night. My boss agreed to accommodate my request for one week only: 10/31-11/05/22, even though I… read more
Easier said than done. But you deserve better than them!!!!
A couple of weeks ago, my doctor increased one of my medicines - Dilantin, and my body did not agree with that. This ended up making my body toxic. I was in in the hospital from 2/5 - 2/7 for my Dilantin level was so high which also made me dehydrated. I am doing better now, but not myself yet. My doctor is eager for me to get back on Dilantin, but I would rather wait at least a few more days for I think my level is still not as it should be.
I am still having pressure feeling on my chest at… read more
