Botox As Treatment

Botox As Treatment

Has anyone had Boxtox as part of their treatment? Before going to Cleavland clinic for second opinion my neurologist was giving my 40 injections in my skull every 6 weeks. Maybe it was helping stop the spread of my hemangioma. I am just curious because I have not seen anyone mention it.

Botox For Headaches

Botox For Headaches

Hi everyone, I've been dealing with migraines all my life and I'm trying to research and look up all the options I have. Botox has come up a lot and I was wondering If anyone else has gotten he procedure and if it was helpful. I know this procedure can go either way and I wanted to see other people experiences.

Has Anyone Had Any Bad Reactions To Botox?

Has Anyone Had Any Bad Reactions To Botox?

I know they prescribe botox to some with headaches. I had it done today for cosmetic reasons. I usually only get fillers around my mouth area, and this was the first time I had botox done. Wasn't really planning on going near the forehead area, because I don't have any wrinkles there anyway, I had specifically asked if they could just fill around my jawline because it was a real good price and figured I could do a touch up...Anyway, after he did my jawline he did a… read more

VNS Wire Concern??? Recent Install.

VNS Wire Concern??? Recent Install.

Hi folks. I'm hoping to see if anyone here has or has known of the trouble I'm having. I just got the implant put in 2 weeks ago. I wasn't too impressed with the surgeons handy work and can't help but think he was in a rush. My concern is mainly the wire lead. It feels as tight as a banjo string going from the protruding device in my chest up to the left side of my adams apple where it fades into flesh. The wire pushes the skin out about 3/8 inch in the neck. I seen the surgeon… read more

Hobbies. What Hobbies Can I Introduce To My, Almost 18 Year Old Sister? That Doesn't Involve Going To Pubs And Club?

My sister has epilepsy, she's currently not on medication. She's been awaiting an appointment for some time for medication.

She loves going to concerts and she loves art. She hasn't had an episode from being at a concert but that doesn't make me worry any less. I'm worried for when she turns 18, incase the lights effect her when she goes to pubs or/and clubs. I'm also concerned she'll rebell from… read more

Lamictal And Osteoporosis

Lamictal And Osteoporosis

I've read that there are studies confirming that Lamictal use significantly increases the risk of osteoporosis, especially in women. My docs have never raised this issue. Given that I'm no spring chicken and that osteoporosis is a very real concern for mature women this "oversight" by my docs is of serious concern to me. Just wondering if any of your medical teams have raised this issue with you. It seems like adding a calcium supplement should be a regular recommendation whenever… read more
