My least favorite part of an EEG was having the electrodes implanted directly into my scalp. Then I was told to relax!

I have heard in the past from several friends who have tried many others including surgery, implants or non-medication alternative methods. @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Everyone gets nervous. Usually what helps is if you talk to your epileptologist/surgeon. From the surgeon, I learned there was a better chance of dying from a car accident… read more
It doesn't matter how much I try paying attention to the conversation. I couldn't tell you everything word for word even if it's just happened. It's like it goes in one ear and out the other. Like following instructions if I've been given 3/4 things to do if I've not written down I would be able to remember 3 & 4 but not 1 & 2
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I am sorry to hear that your family reacts that way. However, you have friends on here, and we can reassure you that you are normal. Epilepsy/Seizure Disorder doesn't make… read more
Earlier today, a rain storm came through. Maybe a minute before this, something happened, rather not discuss it. Thought about brain tumors and intracranial pressure. When the barometer drops, ICP is higher than the pressure outside of the head. Had brain surgery, and brain tumors have the same effect- the tumor presses on the brain. Any experiences with sudden changes in air pressure?
Thanks.
Me too. Exactly my experience, every word. Even what my neurologist said to me this morning, exactly word for word. He said he had deep experience with epilepsy for many years and never heard of air… read more
