Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
Fortunately I live in Wales where I don't have to pay for the meds However they still seem to sometimes mix generic one month ,then branded. Amongst other meds I'm on 1000mgs morning & evening Once… read more

I was in the ED with severe pain in my mid back this week. The CT scan shows I have damage to one of my kidneys that wasn't there on the last scan. The only difference is I began taking Keppra, then switched to Briviact in the time frame between scans. Could be unrelated but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this experience. Thanks.
Thank you! I will do the same. Feel better! God bless you!

I have Tonic-Clonic seizures every 2 weeks. I'm 51 and have been having them for 10 years now.
I started microdosing 3/10s of a gram and I still had my seizure every 2 weeks, but I went 4 months without a Tonic-Clonic seizure. https://www.magicmushrooms101.com

The past year ive been thinking of doing it. Im glad to hear it has sone kind of a positive affect and hope it gets even better for you 😊
Our son was diagnosed with CAE when he was 3 years old, he's now 11 years old & under his consultant was gradually weaned off his medication as he had been seizure free for two years
So since November 2021 he's not been medicated, however over the last two months (from April 2022) we've noticed he's been having what we think to be absent seizures which is having a massive effect on him at school & at home. It's causing his mood to change, he's very tired, he gets headaches & loses… read more
I've had absence seizures (Jeavons syndrome) my entire life. Most of it was med-free because we didn't feel the the side effects of the meds that were available in the 80s justified the pay-off. I… read more
Hello guys,
I had a TBI 11 years ago, effecting the left lobe of my head. I find it somewhat difficult to find words since then.
Currently I'm on 3,000 mg Keppra XR at 5pm, Vimpat 250mg at 7am and another 250 at 7pm and I just started Xcopri 100 mg once a day at 10pm. Since recent auras throughout the past year they want to wean to off of Keppra and have me on Xcopri. Does anyone here with a TBI in the general same area of the head, are on the meds have any advice for me? I haven't had a… read more
I take 3000mg Keppra and 1 MG of Klonipin to control my seizures everyday.
I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?
I agree especially with MarKC - thanks for reminding me of ' non epileptic seizures' I've also heard of them being called ' pseudoseizures' too
