Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
i am wanting some advice about pregancy. i have been told that i am able to have a baby by my doctor, however i have been told by others that i could not because i was taking dilantin. the doctors said it was unsafe as the baby will have birth defects i am unsure would be great if a woman can answer this!

I know that if I had a grand mal seizure when I was at Brigham and Women's Hospital for EEG Long Term Monitoring, then a separate recording device in the room (wireless) could have been used in the research for this potential replacement for all of the wires needing to be attached during EEG testing and especially EEG Long Term Monitoring. i have had epilepsy since 4 and i was recently diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy and my epilepsy specialist said that surgery might be a good option but i also have other types of epilepsy so i dont know if my other types would be affected not only that but i have a traumatic brain injury and acute encophalophaly
