Are there other people who also suffer from urinary incontinence because of meds
Yep! I find it almost impossible to go to sleep without visiting the bathroom several times during the night, just making sure that I won't have an accident. Highly irritating & not something I often… read more
I ordered a vial of charlottes webb CBD oil last night, for the very first time. I wonder how much should I take when I get it?
Will it make me test positive for illegal drugs?
Is it the same charlottes webb that people move to Colorado for? If so, why move.....??
Good to see you @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member!
I have never misused any of my medicine and was on diazepam(valium) prescribed by my family doctor but was taken off by my neurologist. He said that if they needed to treat me in the emergency room that is what they would use. I understand that but I only used it if I felt like one was coming on so I don't see a big problem here. What happens when my heart gives out due to a grandmal seizure?
Valium was used alot at the Maudsley hospital's epilepsy unit in South East London, a few of my friends at Windsor House were on it, who had also depression. I never took it

I am 100% positive that hormones are playing a huge factor in both the frequency and intensity of my seizures but I’m not sure where to start to address it. If anyone has any suggestions, PLEASE let me know!
I started with seizures just as I was coming out of menopause at 54. I’m going to be 64 in June. All of my family and friends as well as myself think my epilepsy was brought on by a hormonal change. I… read more
I have heard in the past from several friends who have tried many others including surgery, implants or non-medication alternative methods. However, I think it would help if those of you who have to share your experience with those are now at the point where they have been told that medication will never allow them to reach a long-term seizure free state.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Everyone gets nervous. Usually what helps is if you talk to your epileptologist/surgeon. From the surgeon, I learned there was a better chance of dying from a car accident… read more
