Diagnosed 1992 I think winter. Oh wait nope summer.
My son is 28 with uncontrolled seizures since 8 months old,brain damage and operates on about a 10 yr old level. But he knows that men and women have sex,kind of knows what sex is and wants a girlfriend, so he can feel sex(his words). He does not go anywhere socially, we live in a small town and I just dont know how to handle this. Every day he asks me to find him a girlfriend. Help, what should I do?

I don't know if this whoosing sound ,tinnitus, ringing in ear is a due to taking tegretol i've read that tegretol can cause this as a side effect.
I've been ignoring it as just a side effect but I'm confused as do I get it checked out I said if the whooshing sound came back I would and it has started yesterday.
Wondering if anyone has had this side effect with tegretol?

Since having epilepsy I've only seen a few people have a sezure on TV i watch some body yesterday on TV have a sezure I thought it was upsetting to the point I cry I wouldn't like to see myself shocking what we go through and our body's bless everyone ❣️ and stay positive strong and never ashamed let s all hope for a better 2023

I have heard in the past from several friends who have tried many others including surgery, implants or non-medication alternative methods. However, I think it would help if those of you who have to share your experience with those are now at the point where they have been told that medication will never allow them to reach a long-term seizure free state.

Hi all. My son recently started seizing (grand mal) again after 4 years of being seizure free. I’m looking to buy him a seizure alert device but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them. I’m currently looking at My Medic Watch App which connects to a smartphone or the Embrace 2 Watch. Are there any other options out there? Your insight is much appreciated.
