Just a little background. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy in 2017 and I am 30 years old. As many of you know you can also have Tonic Clonic and Absence seizures under this umbrella, so to speak. I have suffered status twice from tonic Clonic seizures due to flashing lights. Since my last seizure, I find my attention span is much shorter, especially when reading. Anyone else experience this?

I have to a video eeg done. I have watched some YouTube videos, but still have questions. Will they just stop all my medications as soon as i am in the hospital? Or what?
It all depends on how long the EEGV is . For one day, they won’t do a thing with meds.
From 4 - 7 days they will decrease your meds little bit at a time everyday
