I have heard in the past from several friends who have tried many others including surgery, implants or non-medication alternative methods. However, I think it would help if those of you who have to share your experience with those are now at the point where they have been told that medication will never allow them to reach a long-term seizure free state.

I ask this question because I just remembered the first time that I was told by someone that I had a Complex Partial Seizure. It was when working in Acushnet Rubber factory at some point in the first 5 months of the year (I worked for 8 months there before returning to college in the fall of 1997), and a coworker in that section of the factory had witnessed at least part of the complex partial seizure. My seizures have remained the same, I just have fewer seizures than before.
I know the tests said my memory was poor. When given directions, I did not carry out the task well or consistently. The inability to do so the Doctor felt would getting and keeping a job difficult.
I have a very bad short term memory but a good long term memory
