Diagnosed 1992 I think winter. Oh wait nope summer.
I have heard in the past from several friends who have tried many others including surgery, implants or non-medication alternative methods. However, I think it would help if those of you who have to share your experience with those are now at the point where they have been told that medication will never allow them to reach a long-term seizure free state.

I’ve had epilepsy since the age of 2. I’m now close to 50 yrs. Of age
Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
I know the tests said my memory was poor. When given directions, I did not carry out the task well or consistently. The inability to do so the Doctor felt would getting and keeping a job difficult.

just wondering what yalls state laws are for driving aftwr a seizure. every time i have one, i have to wait 6 months to drive, which sucks but could be worse. i was just wondering if yall had similar laws, or for those of you who have multiple seizures, what do yall do about driving?

My son is in the process of being tested for temporal lobe epileptic surgery. The neurologist told us it will stop the seizures. Has anyone in the group experienced this or have any positive feedback?
