Anyone have seizure reactions to watching a 3D movie? I sure would like to watch Thor Love and Thunder in 3D but not sure if my brain will react. Thoughts please?
I think the type of movies like being a stressful or comedy might have something different each time too!
How come every time I start a new job within the first 1 to 3 days I start having multiple focal seizures and it affects my work but when I am home not working it will be fine my focal seizures will be gone
The stress ï now have too much in my mind. Take it one day at a time
I was diagnosed several years ago with grand mal seizures, except that an EEG wouldn't detect them while I was having them. Was diagnosed with hereditary seizures. Was wondering has anyone else heard of the term or something similar??
What is 3D printing? My son is on 3000mg of Keppra but don't know if it's 3D printing?
When did you get it?
Diagnosed 1992 I think winter. Oh wait nope summer.
Sleeping or watching tv
1. Lack of sleep
2. Strobe lights
3. Blowing on a windmill
My least favorite part of an EEG was having the electrodes implanted directly into my scalp. Then I was told to relax!
It doesn't matter how much I try paying attention to the conversation. I couldn't tell you everything word for word even if it's just happened. It's like it goes in one ear and out the other. Like following instructions if I've been given 3/4 things to do if I've not written down I would be able to remember 3 & 4 but not 1 & 2

Earlier today, a rain storm came through. Maybe a minute before this, something happened, rather not discuss it. Thought about brain tumors and intracranial pressure. When the barometer drops, ICP is higher than the pressure outside of the head. Had brain surgery, and brain tumors have the same effect- the tumor presses on the brain. Any experiences with sudden changes in air pressure?
Me too. Exactly my experience, every word. Even what my neurologist said to me this morning, exactly word for word. He said he had deep experience with epilepsy for many years and never heard of air… read more
My neurologist wants to put me on EPIDIOLEX. Does anybody have any experience with this medication. I would love to hear your reviews and experiences. Good or bad.
@Churcham. I can tell you from professional experience (14 years doing interlibrary loan work for Massachusetts General Hospital--and getting at least article, chapter, book, etc. request filled for… read more
Hey community! Hope all is well for y'all. I came here to get your opinions. I was recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Generalized Epilepsy, however, I've only had 3 seizures in my life. I had a febrile one at 5, one at 21, and one a couple weeks ago. The 2 seizures I had when I was older was just essentially body abuse. Lots of alcohol, use of drugs, sleep deprivation, etc. I have been on Keppra for 3 weeks now, but have been thinking lately about if I really want to do that. I feel like my… read more
AlexioGuadagno, ‘idiopathic’ does mean ‘of unknown origin’, but because you have had them AT ALL, and especially when you were an infant, suggests it is preexisting. Has your doctor done an EEG… read more
