I was six and a half and now I am sixty and a half. My husband has one primary interest-Don't overdo it.
Since my last seizure, I find my attention span is much shorter, especially when reading. Anyone else experience this?

I usually have 2-3 grand mal seizures each year. I've had 8 now, in just the first 5 months of my pregnancy. Given my experience over the last 21 years of my life since I was diagnosed, I think I'll have a seizure during labour (fatigue & stress). Its a huge concern of mine and I think a planned C-section is a better option.

I'm going to have the RNS implant in March. And all I want to know is has anyone else had it done and dose it work . I go in March to Vanderbilt medical center in Nashville Tennessee.
I had serzuire since I was 2 yrs old and I am 31 yrs old and my son is 10 yrs old just wondering if he would have them or if would get them from me
I was wrong in my original comment, you can pass epilepsy through genetics. Although just because you have epilepsy doesn’t necessarily mean that it was passed on through genetics
There are 2 possibilities
1. You experiencing bad side effects of your medication(s)
2. You are actually having , some form of a seizure.

I feel like I’m falling apart! My skin, hair and muscle tone are changing and my energy levels are too. Any info on how to approach management of care (external and internal) without affecting seizures? I eat clean and exercise, but I’m suddenly feeling at a loss here. My son hes 31 has been prescribed Keppra, and after reading the side effects I'm even more worried and scared for him 😢
I experience Keppra rage. It sucks! I have to be extra aware of my moods and how I am acting/treating other people!
Any positive information on Epidiolex as the only meds? Currently on Zonagran. I'm reading and so many bad side effects. We asked our doctor to switch
Had a abnormal 24 EEG 1 month ago and in 2019,but not the cleavland clinic wants a 3 day EEG, I wish the shared data more . We have a functional doctor appointment and generics appointment. I'm my son's voice until he finds it and if takes fighting for his rights and researching like a scientist, then must be done.

Ive been fired from 6 jobs within the past year alone for "too many missed work days" due to seizures. Or my co-workers "being uncomfortable w my epilepsy and chance of seizures". I had a seizure at work at 2 of my jobs and was fired from both shortly after each. My question is, how do you handle others who don't understand epilepsy in the workplace? I applied for disability and had no problem getting it but my situation is a bit defferent because I became legally blind first. I can only see center vision on my left eye and on right lower vision… read more
