A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi,

I love PC gaming, and have always been a gamer. I had all type of consoles and have now a gaming PC. I love Sim Racing in particular and since VR became widely available I'm fighting with myself. My Intelligence tells me as a person with Photosensitve Epilepsie, it is the worse I can do to myself, the gamer in me urges me to give it a go. My Epilepsie is under good control with medication and I have no seizures, I even drive a car. I wonder if anyone here was brave enough to give it a go… read more

When You Are Taking The Medication
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

When you are asked to take medication in the Morning and Night when Label on the box, would you follow it to 12 Hours between taking it, or what would you think of Various time in the Morning and A Various time at Night? If you didn't have a set 12 Hour Period would you think people would have more Seizures, Because I use to work early at 6am up to Last February, but would take my Medication at 9pm for Night , so this would be over a 12 Hour Period.

How Do I Remember Things From Class?

So I'm going back to college. I start on August 11th. Here's my deal though. I've been in and out of college since I graduated in 2009 because of Epilepsy problems. I've gone to college three other times already. Also for three different things. Should have stayed with the same track I know but I'm indecisive and I get bored easily. First time I was at the community college, I was there for my AA but I had just found out that I had Epilepsy. My GPA started dropping near the end of a year and a… read more
