Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
I have Tonic-Clonic seizures every 2 weeks. I'm 51 and have been having them for 10 years now.
I started microdosing 3/10s of a gram and I still had my seizure every 2 weeks, but I went 4 months without a Tonic-Clonic seizure. https://www.magicmushrooms101.com

I have to a video eeg done. I have watched some YouTube videos, but still have questions. Will they just stop all my medications as soon as i am in the hospital? Or what?
It all depends on how long the EEGV is . For one day, they won’t do a thing with meds.
From 4 - 7 days they will decrease your meds little bit at a time everyday

I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?

I was asked this tonight. Because of my birthdate. They said they remember the liberty train 🚂 and I should remember something that can mark around what my possible age could be. Ok so my oldest memory is Reagan getting shot. I think eighties. Don't really help. Everything I find says my birthday mid to early 70's

I had been on Lamotrogine 100mg for 6 months, only side effect was insomnia. I was still having partial seizures.
I have been on 150mg of Lamotrogine now for the past 4 days and am suffering extreme headaches, nausea and falling into deep sleeps with crazy busy dreams and occasional jerks.
Not sure why the side effects have changed so drastically with such a small change in dosage (I have to try it for 2 weeks).
Has anyone experienced this or have any advice?
I am on 300mg lamotrigine 2X day, and I can say I still experience the imbalance, the deep sleep, the weird dreams (although I rarely remember them), vision problems and the difficulty with balance… read more
Hi all. My son recently started seizing (grand mal) again after 4 years of being seizure free. I’m looking to buy him a seizure alert device but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them. I’m currently looking at My Medic Watch App which connects to a smartphone or the Embrace 2 Watch. Are there any other options out there? Your insight is much appreciated.
