My first EEG came back abnormal. I get seizures daily and now I am taking the 3 day EEG at home. I want to make sure I don't do anything that would give wrong results. Can medication, drinking coffee or moving head cause it to be abnormal? Can the EEG not show my seizure? I want to make sure that this test will show what is happening. Can the test be normal even though the seizures are happenings? I am having so much anxiety about this

I was wrong in my original comment, you can pass epilepsy through genetics. Although just because you have epilepsy doesn’t necessarily mean that it was passed on through genetics
Since my last seizure, I find my attention span is much shorter, especially when reading. Anyone else experience this?

Had a abnormal 24 EEG 1 month ago and in 2019,but not the cleavland clinic wants a 3 day EEG, I wish the shared data more . We have a functional doctor appointment and generics appointment.
