Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
Will it set off with excessive motion.

I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?
I agree especially with MarKC - thanks for reminding me of ' non epileptic seizures' I've also heard of them being called ' pseudoseizures' too
Has anyone had side effects with certain foods, with your medications. Cause ever since I started taken lamitical I cant eat any of the spanish beans I used eat. Which is weird. It used to be fine when I ate spanish beans with rice but ever since I started taken lamitical for my seizures is that a side effect or no?
I'm on that but I'm just getting immune to every medicine 😢 I wouldn't take Felbamate
Cutting the long story short I was told by my gynecologist I would definitely need surgery to remove an endometriosis nodule in my rectum but upon a consultation today with a colorectal surgeon she advised that i dont need surgery just treatment to suppress the endrometriosis with hormones and that the surgery decesion relies heavily on the gynecologist requesting it and that she has to arrange the surgery on her end.

I am going for a 24 hour scan next week and I want to see if it will show me blanking out and being restless as the normal eeg shows my seizures but not to an extend on how long and so forth. Is this scan worth my while?
I had those tests plus a digitrace for when your being at home
Does anyone use a smart watch app to notify caregivers or family members of their seizures? I see there are a few available. The only approved watch is the Embrace 2. I am looking into using a smart watch with a app.
Thanks for the responses. All of the information is very informative. I guess the reason I would ever want someone alerted is if I'm alone or when I finally move back out of my parents house.
How helpful has had LNS, VNS, and/or Deep Brain Stimulation been for you ? How successful was any that you have had for you? Score 1 = being great (long-term seizure free state) and 10 being a failure and more trouble than what it was worth
How many time per year are you having some battery replacement or other maintenance for LNS or VNS?

So I'm going back to college. I start on August 11th. Here's my deal though. I've been in and out of college since I graduated in 2009 because of Epilepsy problems. I've gone to college three other times already. Also for three different things. Should have stayed with the same track I know but I'm indecisive and I get bored easily. read it write it sign it and Record it there are exceptions for our disability take an ASL class once you learn to sign you will surprise yourself how much you remember you muight find a new calling
there is so much seizure tracker and diary apps that it is overwhelming. what is your go to app for seizure tracker and/or diary?
