Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
Not being believed is worse than a seizure. I hope your days are sunny and peaceful.
Do you guys drive?
Losing the right or ability to drive is not only hard it just down right sucks! It is a means to independence. I haven’t driven in almost 9 years and I hate every minute. Having said that I look at… read more

Something some said got to me. Not all forms of epilepsy make tou loose consciensness. I am always alart and and aware of several of my triggers. My sezuires are either absent, mind staring or simple/conplex jerks (like a cold chill).
I have complex partial seizures. My neurologist and I have talked about my license as I have brought it up. He sees no reason to revoke my license and my diagnosis does not require them to be.
Anyone else still have their license?

I know some kids grow out of their seizures as they get older but do adults do?? I hope it is common.
Thank you John, your answers have always been very useful/helpful and very easy to understand with the way you explain things.
I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?
I agree especially with MarKC - thanks for reminding me of ' non epileptic seizures' I've also heard of them being called ' pseudoseizures' too
