Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance

Will it set off with excessive motion.

I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?

So, this is just weird. Has anyone been shaky just in one hand? My right hand is shaking out of control, while my left hand is steady like a brick.

Has anyone had side effects with certain foods, with your medications. Cause ever since I started taken lamitical I cant eat any of the spanish beans I used eat. Which is weird. It used to be fine when I ate spanish beans with rice but ever since I started taken lamitical for my seizures is that a side effect or no?

Marijuana can help seizures (not in huge amounts in a safe amount) at least I’ve heard I asked my own neurologist and she said it does but not in crazy amounts I personally smoke weed and I’ve found it does help (when it isn’t super bad) if you do yourself what’s your opinion if you don’t still drop your opinion in the comments

I've got complex partial seizures with identified abnormality in my temporal lobe. Seizures are focal so my neurologist said surgery is an option I should consider, but I'm pretty scared and not sure it is worth it. My seizures aren't very bad and I could still lead a mostly-normal life but I plan to become a doctor and with sleep deprivation being a major trigger for me it may prevent me from pursuing my desire to work in a hospital (which means long hours). Theyve been trying to get me to get epilepsy brain surgery for years the older I get the more I'm considering it as I'm seeing how it's affecting my life as an adult. I just want to hear other people who have already done it experiences so I know what I'm getting into. Did it completely cure you? Did your seizures get worse? Any mental changes in personality or mood? How painful was it? Etc.

I am going for a 24 hour scan next week and I want to see if it will show me blanking out and being restless as the normal eeg shows my seizures but not to an extend on how long and so forth. Is this scan worth my while?
