Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
Will it set off with excessive motion.
I have heard of this but I am afraid to shell out the money only ro have it not work. I'm waiting for it to be out a little longer so I can hear how well it works. If it works well, I would be more… read more
Theyve been trying to get me to get epilepsy brain surgery for years the older I get the more I'm considering it as I'm seeing how it's affecting my life as an adult. I just want to hear other people who have already done it experiences so I know what I'm getting into. Did it completely cure you? Did your seizures get worse? Any mental changes in personality or mood? How painful was it? Etc.
Does anyone use a smart watch app to notify caregivers or family members of their seizures? I see there are a few available. The only approved watch is the Embrace 2. I am looking into using a smart watch with a app.
Thanks for the responses. All of the information is very informative. I guess the reason I would ever want someone alerted is if I'm alone or when I finally move back out of my parents house.
My PCP and my neuro eye doctor feel that I have epilepsy. However I just saw a doctor who does not believe I have epilepsy and tried to write it off as psychological when I know it is not. I was six and a half and now I am sixty and a half. My husband has one primary interest-Don't overdo it.
Monday, I have a 24hr EEG to get cleared from driving? I am worried about what will happen if I can’t get cleared 😰
Yea, i know how that feels for sure. And i understand for driving and such but it sucks.
What do you do to remember to take meds when you take more than once a day!
The box I keep my pills in is a decorative box that I sit on a living room table. That way I see it several times each day.
