Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
I am 22 years old, I just graduated from college. I am young and I like to go out with my friends and family and drink with them. I know that a lot, probably the majority, of the people on this will respond telling me not to drink any alcohol because it is dangerous. How come every time I start a new job within the first 1 to 3 days I start having multiple focal seizures and it affects my work but when I am home not working it will be fine my focal seizures will be gone
The stress ï now have too much in my mind. Take it one day at a time

My least favorite part of an EEG was having the electrodes implanted directly into my scalp. Then I was told to relax!
I have Tonic-Clonic seizures every 2 weeks. I'm 51 and have been having them for 10 years now.

Have my first date tonight after being diagnosed. Not sure how/when to disclose that I have epilepsy or explain it, I'm very nervous about having a seizure in front of him.

A friend told her boyfriend after they went out a couple times.
I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?
I agree especially with MarKC - thanks for reminding me of ' non epileptic seizures' I've also heard of them being called ' pseudoseizures' too

As a child, I took Phenobarbital at night, and Tridione in the daytime. Anyone else heard of this? My new Dr.'s give me funny looks, but I know what I was taking. I was 17 when I stopped taking it.
I take 145 mg of phenobarbital.
