Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance

About 5 months ago my 2 friends took me to a emergency room at a local hospital. I had a falling seizure a day and half before and I had the symptoms of a concussion. My friends and I wanted to find out if I did have a concussion for sure. Disappointing experience we all had. Didn't find out anything about a concussion. A month and a half later I got 3 bills totalling right under 5 thousand dollars. Got my medical records for that day, for I could get anyway. It was full of lies, with… read more
Unfortunately, you have to let them know you are taking them to court, and if this does not inspire them to listen and fix the records, then take them to court.
anyone know how to get someone to back off if thier giving you a hard time about your epilepsy an related issues . My professor feels like I getting one over on the systems and i feel is riding my ass
Yes file a complaint , he is just ignorant .
I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?
I agree especially with MarKC - thanks for reminding me of ' non epileptic seizures' I've also heard of them being called ' pseudoseizures' too
For as long as i can remember i have had dreams about having siezures. I wake up and my head hurts and im tired all day as if i actually had a siezure. Am i siezing in my sleep or is it just a dream?
Explain situation when you see your specialist as it could very likely be nocturnal seizures. My daughter is going to have a 24 x7 testing with a special set up to see if this is what is causing her… read more
Does anyone manufacture a watch to alert to seizures, heart problems, etc.
I only have two skinny wrists, so I don't have a lot of room for multiple watches.😁

They stop my seizure medicine ,I started stuttering alot more and having migraines after seizures. They all want to say pnes and I don't know what to do anymore I have fits and I do not call 911 or go to hospital. Only if I had migraine for 4 or 5 days
Because of the way the medical staff treat me in Juneau,AK yet neurologist wants proof and my family refuses to call anyone for help if they see any activity because they want it to be factitious or pnes

Like this it it why man kind makes duct tape and sells over the counter medicines mix and fix no Dr required
They plan on moving me to an Assisted Living Facility. I am deeply concerned about keeping the Oral Syringes clean and dry. I do a wonderful job, and the Nurse who visits agrees.
Does anyone know how this is dealt with in these places?
