Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
My wife is living with epilepsy and I am so scared to death of losing her. I would like to know if there is anything we could do, or is it something that's inevitable?
I would say when for some reason the seizures can not be controlled, no matter what they do

I'm still new to these seizures that I experience I've researched the seizure process and it does says there's a paralysis that does happen called Todd's paralysis but I'm curious to know does anyone else experience this?
it's quite scary I find I always worry that I won't be able to ever move again after.
It happen to some people, during and after a seizure. It’s the area of the brain , that the brainwaves hits and makes you temporarily paralyzed
I took Dilantin for a few years as a child. I'm not sure why my doctor switched me from Dilantin to Tegretol, but I'm assuming it's because I broke through on it. I really liked it, but I suppose what I'm on now is best for controlling my seizures.
I do not know if this question was for me SeraMartin, but I see another Neurologist next week on Thursday. I hope that they come up with something new for me.
