I am 100% positive that hormones are playing a huge factor in both the frequency and intensity of my seizures but I’m not sure where to start to address it. If anyone has any suggestions, PLEASE let me know!

Does anyone know if 200mg 2x day is a high dose? I mean I could ask my neurologist. Just curious.
I take 1 200 in morning 2 at night and mind are brand name and never had problem but came sz free goning on 25 yrs as also take Tegretol 400mg 1 in morning 1 at night same time brand name

The only thing that I haven't had to deal with until maybe mid 2000's I found out I have type 2 diabetes. That and the medication made me get dehydrated quite often. I have always had dealt with stress and Sleep deprived because I was hyperactive and insomnia. So I don't think that did it. But aa the years went by and added medication for diabetes I became more prone to dehydration. I couldn't drink enough water to stay hydrated. So far I can drive if I want to even on a medication. I just don't have a car lol. So it's public transit for me and my husband.
I know the tests said my memory was poor. When given directions, I did not carry out the task well or consistently. The inability to do so the Doctor felt would getting and keeping a job difficult.
Sometimes the drugs they give people with epilepsy can cause memory problems. Try asking your doctor about that.
I recently had my third seizure at 29 years old. My first was a Febrile Seizure at age 5 or so. My second was around 22; I went to a music festival after barely sleeping, didn't eat, drank and smoked marijuana. Third was after a long night of drinking and poor sleep. Smoked marijuana and instantly went into one. I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with IGE. I haven't started my Keppra yet as I've already been dealing with anxiety and depression for the last year or so. It's happened quite a few times at bedtime most recently last night, i feel heavy and disconnected but also like my body is moving around, my eyes quickly moving around...
