Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance

Hi guys. Today I want to raise an important topic, i.e. about getting a baby while having epilepsy. I'm having focal lobe epi, with seizures every 3-6 months. Taking Keppra 1500 mg/day and also having Phenibut. My doctor says there is a chance that my potential baby might get wrong genes but there as well a chance they won't. For those diagnosed later in life, how long did it take to overcome the sudden changes in your life? I was a total extrovert before seizures, always on the go. I never want to leave the house no because I'm scared of having a seizure in public or around friends most of which don't even know that I have them yet. Will it set off with excessive motion.

Earlier today, a rain storm came through. Maybe a minute before this, something happened, rather not discuss it. Thought about brain tumors and intracranial pressure. When the barometer drops, ICP is higher than the pressure outside of the head. Had brain surgery, and brain tumors have the same effect- the tumor presses on the brain. Any experiences with sudden changes in air pressure?

I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?

Why isn't there housing help or caseworkers for us .and if there is you have to be 55 or 66.

Has anyone had side effects with certain foods, with your medications. Cause ever since I started taken lamitical I cant eat any of the spanish beans I used eat. Which is weird. It used to be fine when I ate spanish beans with rice but ever since I started taken lamitical for my seizures is that a side effect or no?

Does anyone know if 200mg 2x day is a high dose? I mean I could ask my neurologist. Just curious.
