Hey everyone new here
Just a little background. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy in 2017 and I am 30 years old. As many of you know you can also have Tonic Clonic and Absence seizures under this umbrella, so to speak. I have suffered status twice from tonic Clonic seizures due to flashing lights. just wondering what yalls state laws are for driving aftwr a seizure. every time i have one, i have to wait 6 months to drive, which sucks but could be worse. i was just wondering if yall had similar laws, or for those of you who have multiple seizures, what do yall do about driving?
In south Africa you aren't allowed a license if you've been diagnosed with epilepsy. You have to be seizure free for 2 years before you are allowed to apply for a license. Personally I have a lot of… read more
