My almost 18 year old son has had seizures since he was 6 years old. He’s been taking Trileptal and Lamictal. He has had two grand mal seizures in the last month. His doctor slowly increased his lamicatal to 175 mg twice a day. He has been throwing up every day after his morning dose. It happens two hours after taking his medication and last for two or more hours. His neurologist doesn’t think it’s from his medication. I have made a routine of taking my medications, however, when something disrupts that routine, I sometimes tend to forget to take my medication. How you found anything useful to help you remember take your medications?

I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?
I agree especially with MarKC - thanks for reminding me of ' non epileptic seizures' I've also heard of them being called ' pseudoseizures' too
