Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
I am 57 with MS. I am mobile but still have some issues such as falling and dizziness. 2 weeks ago I had 3 seizures in 2 days. Have never had 1. Went to neuro and after tests declared my ms has caused epilepsy. Do you spend time alone? I find myself being afraid to be alone.
Keppra is the medication I am on also.
Will it set off with excessive motion.

I have made a routine of taking my medications, however, when something disrupts that routine, I sometimes tend to forget to take my medication. How you found anything useful to help you remember take your medications?
Got a pill box to lay on my table, is a weeks supply at a time! Alarms on iPad and telephone come in handy! Thanks for asking

Ive been sacked i have epilepsy was diagnosed over 5 years ago my mental health impacts this I had a stage 4 meeting I wasn’t aware of the time till i came into work today meeting was at half 9 I even cancelled a 4 week sick note to come back in as I had a seizure last weekend what can I do I’ve been in the job 9 years 😩any advise please

What do you do to remember to take meds when you take more than once a day!
And my phone scares the heck out of me all the time with reminders
Theyve been trying to get me to get epilepsy brain surgery for years the older I get the more I'm considering it as I'm seeing how it's affecting my life as an adult. I just want to hear other people who have already done it experiences so I know what I'm getting into. Did it completely cure you? Did your seizures get worse? Any mental changes in personality or mood? How painful was it? Etc.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member mine was so long ago I forgot about the puffy eyes. I had that as well. You have the same triggers as me
I was told I have Grand Mal and other Seizure Disorders one of them called Pseudoseizures . Anyone else ever hear of this? I'm told it's hard to diagnose and often gone undiagnosed or is missed. My family and I was just grasping the Grand Mal Seizures now there's more to try and sort thru?
I agree especially with MarKC - thanks for reminding me of ' non epileptic seizures' I've also heard of them being called ' pseudoseizures' too
I don't know if anyone knows anything about this but I have a hard time looking at a computer for very long without getting symptomatic - I know that's not a phenomenon among epileptics. But it's becoming a big problem because I have to do a lot of work for my job on my phone, which severely limits what I'm able to do. Does anyone know if tablets are better than computers for people who are photosensitive? I would definitely try to get one if I knew they wouldn't cause me as many problems as… read more
I use my laptop a lot and it gives t seizures but I have been advised to take regular breaks and not to use any electronic devices late at night or within an hour before going to sleep.
