Every couple of years I have seizures then my Dr wants to try something new or ups the dosage. The meds I'm on now are making me dizzy and off balance
My potassium was below a 3 when I 2 back to back. I'm now on 10 Meq's which is 8 pills a day.
I asked a similar question I have had low potassium after seizures. And even prescriptions now given to me.
I was prescribed Depokote 20 years ago but discontinued shortly after due to side effects and it did not control the hormone triggers. I have had auras for the past 20 years but I have now had 2 grand mal seizures in the last 8 months.

What do you do to remember to take meds when you take more than once a day!

Mine is 300mg bid
Only 2 grand mals since 2015 and monthly absence seizures
I take 250mg morning and evening. This has increased slowly over 8 years.
Will it set off with excessive motion.

My 9 year old missed his levetiracetam this morning. We did not realize it until noon. He takes his medicine twice a day. Every 12 hours. We try to take it every time at the same time. His doses are 8:30 am and 8:30 pm. We have this set due to school and bed time. My question is: Is it safe to skip one dose. My son only had 2 full convulsion seizures.
