That there all other types of seizures other than the well known Grand-Mal "drop & flop" and effects such as extreme mood changes & being frozen in time or total loss of recollection.

The attempted suicide rate on keppra is about as high as 30% depending on where you are, thankfully less than 10% succeeds, do the maths on mortality that’s it’s 70% effective in lowering seizures. It barely lowers the mortality rate overall as the suicide rate is so high. Yeah it’s barely discussed but it’s a serious issue medicine will look back on with a bit of shame.

I'm guilty of being so wrapped up in keeping myself seizure free and maintaining my epilepsy i don't stop to think about how my condition takes a toll on everyone in my life

I have to agree with you. My husband treats me differently. He has not done any research about seizures or epilepsy. He thinks epilepsy is a mental disease and not a brain disease. Also, he feels he is smarter than me now and feels he needs to tell me about things I already know about or can research on the internet. I use to let it bother me which caused me stress and then seizures. I don't let it bother me anymore and I have had less seizures.
