Just a suggestion: Ask him/her if you can see your output (EEG result) as it happens. You would just have to look at a computer screen, all 17 electrodes will be sending a signal there. If he/she lets you watch, try and modify your output. Basically, change the waves you are seeing, by thinking different things (relax, REALLY relax, focus on something, etc.). You should notice you can change those waves significantly. And that's what it's about: If you can change those waves enough then seizures cannot happen. Regards, Jake

Did You get any results from the eeg? I hope good results come or came from that test. The best test that worked for me was the Depth Electrodes Test. Electrodes really touching my brain 🧠 gave me some answers. Something that may come up next for You is the Vagus Nerve Stimulator also called the VNS. I have a VNS right now.

I can remember when your results were scratched out on paper like a lie detector. It was pretty cool.

It sounds like you have an EEG scheduled for 10:30am to monitor your brain activity, followed by an appointment with your neurologist at 10:40am to review the results. EEGs are important diagnostic tools that allow doctors to visualize brain waves and seizure activity. I hope the test goes smoothly and provides some helpful Show Full Answer
