Make sure you get your fat
Avocado, nuts, chia/flaxseeds, oils, nut butter, tofu, lentils

I've always known fat is used by brain so if epileptic need more. My cuz a cardiologist also a vegetarian have spoken bout this too. My cholesterol level is below normal so both agree need animal fat. All are diff so ask your neurologist bout self for best advice. Read bout how/why brain needs fat to function to understand more.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Vegens wouldn't have the butter because it's an animal product. They would be fine fat wise anyway with all of the other things you listed. + they would need almonds and other nuts.

Good question. You would have to ask a GP about it if you ever wanted to do it as it's a major diet change. You can still get everything you need but it can be a lot harder to do it. Then if you choose to Vegan, it becomes even harder and a lot different because you don't have any animal products at all so no Milk or eggs.
