I give you a hug! New high dose makes me work fast and get grumpy then cannot sleep all thru the night. The Dr said this will pass!
She tells me I am the most emotional man she has ever known. But I attribute it to my condition. I don't recall being like this until six years ago.
That doesn't happen to me, but it's different for everybody. I get angry easily (might be keppra rage, not sure), but that's only because things never go my way, no matter how hard I try.
Yes. Well more from being over excited, from big parties, Holiday get togethers, concerts, and live sporting events.
Mostly as a ramification to seizures, but not out of that. I always find it’s a fine line of what to consider mental illness as it is human and normal to go through something like depression when you… read more
Does anyone feel really emotional or a change in their emotions after their seizure or for the next day or so?
I find I can feel quite down and sad, sometimes near crying or I cry a little. Not crying because I can't cope or that I'm upset about having a seizure, just more that I feel really down. In the past I've also felt a little angry or moody after a seizure as well.
Just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has experienced this?
I have grand mal/tonic clonic seizures.
Thanks x
I can become real emotional sometimes. When it happens is 1’of the things that can make it so emotional for me.
Lately I have been having seizures flurries and once I am able to get them to stop, the anxiety and depression doesn't die down much and it weighs on me and my body.
Resting and relaxing is what I do to 🤷♀️ sleeping 😴

Does anyone find they cry following a seizure or does crying lead to a seizure? I'm not sure if this is depression caused by medication?
Stress is a major trigger for me. I guess it could be a chicken and the egg question. A major seizure leaves me extremely confused. Fortunately that has not happened for quite a while. Not knowing… read more
Such as feeling bad about yourself or having a bad day.
I noticed that a lot of my seizures have been triggered by stress. For instance I had a big seizure when I had a family member pass. And I didn’t even see that make so much of an impact on me.
But… read more
